Mathilde Wittock is a bio and ecodesigner whose work bridges material research and sustainable innovation. Educated in biodesign and industrial design at Central Saint Martins in London, she built her expertise through experiences at design studios such as Pentagram, Atelier Van Lieshout, and Futurewave.
Her approach is grounded in circular design, creating products with full lifecycle awareness. Mathilde focuses on regenerative materials, sourced from waste or biological processes, while exploring their sensory impact. She believes design should engage all senses, including touch, sight, sound, and smell, to foster deeper emotional connections with objects.
Now based in Brussels, she also collaborates with a university on research into the acoustic properties of materials, pushing the boundaries of how sound and form interact in design.
