Aurélien Veyrat works across sculpture, design, and architecture with a deep respect for process, technique, and material. After training in cabinetmaking and studying at fine art school and ENSAD Paris, he founded his own studio in 2008. His work brings together construction logic, creative reuse, and material exploration.

Brick is central to his practice. He sources discarded or forgotten bricks, which he washes, dries, cuts, and recomposes into modular sculptural columns and fragments. This work draws inspiration from architecture and the overlooked potential of industrial waste. Using offcuts, rainwater, concrete, plaster, and recovered glass, he creates layered compositions that blur the line between object, sculpture, and structure. Through these iterative processes, he builds a visual language rooted in reuse, texture, and contrast.

Veyrat’s pieces have been acquired by the Mobilier National in France, the Design Museum in Ghent, and Galila’s P.O.C in Brussels.
