Founded in 2012, KRJST Studio is the collaborative practice of Belgian artists Justine de Moriamé and Erika Schillebeeckx. After beginning their careers in fashion, they shifted toward contemporary textile art in 2015, developing a distinctive approach to woven and embroidered work.

Their large-scale jacquard tapestries blend traditional weaving techniques with experimental processes and intuitive composition. Each piece becomes an emotional landscape, layered with memory, time, and gesture.

KRJST’s process is both ritual and research. Threads are treated like brushstrokes, used to express what language cannot. Their work explores the chaos and calm of inner worlds, moving between personal experience and universal symbolism.

The duo approaches textile as a medium of reflection and transformation, merging ancient techniques with contemporary questions. Their woven pieces are collected and exhibited internationally, including by Galerie La Forest Divonne, Galerie Scène Ouverte, and Objects With Narratives.
