Sophie Coucke began her studies at Saint-Luc Liège before moving to Paris to pursue her first passion, the restoration of artworks. She trained under Juliette Dupin in Montmartre, where she explored the techniques of glass and ceramic restoration, followed by an apprenticeship in the Echement studio in Brussels, focusing on the conservation of paintings.
Driven by each new encounter, Sophie expanded her skills to include decorative painting and the mastery of traditional lime-based plasters. Her ability to integrate into the creative universe of others has led to long-term collaborations with leading figures such as Jean-Luc Moerman and Lionel Jadot.
